After 15 years, we have learned that we don't really wan't to take on every job that comes along. We aren't all that interested in beating every other company on price. We don't come to your home, give you a price and then tell you we can give you 25% off that price, but only if you will sign a contract on the spot. We will never make offers like, "Buy three windows, get one free!" or "You pay only for the materials and we'll install your deck for free!" We assume our clients are a little smarter than to buy into that sort of hype.

NICK HAHLBECK
Nick grew up in Norfolk, Nebraska and studied Construction Design at Northeast Community College. Nick has been in the exterior remodeling business since 1995, beginning in Springfield, MO before moving to the Kansas City area in 1997.
After working for several years as a subcontractor and installer, Nick started his own exterior contracting company, Elite One, Inc., in 2004, and added Mark Zell as his Sales and Marketing Director in 2005. Initially performing mostly residential work and new construction jobs, Elite One Exteriors has expanded its scope of work to include projects in the commercial, multi-family, retail, and hospitality spaces.
Nick lives in Lake Waukomis with his wife, Robin, and his daughter Jena attends Park University, where she competes in the track and field program. He is a big fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Royals, and the Chiefs, and is an avid sportsman, with fishing and hunting at the top of his list.

MARK ZELL
Mark took a bit of a roundabout path into the contracting world. After graduating from the University of Kansas Medical Center with a degree in Respiratory Care, Mark worked at Children's Mercy Hospital for seven years before pursuing a sales career in the telecommunications and IT field.
When two of his friends needed assistance on the computer side of their contracting business, Mark decided to join them. It wasn't long before he was offered a new position running the siding division of another local KC remodeling company. It was in that position in 2005 that Mark met Nick Hahlbeck and the two decided to join forces build upon Nick's already existing company, Elite One.
Mark is a native Kansas Citian and lives in the Liberty area with his wife Kristen, and their two teenagers, Zack and Kamryn. In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing golf and watching the KU Jayhawks win Big XII basketball titles.
